After graduating high school, Jake left his hometown of Idaho Falls, Idaho and completed a two year religious mission in Colombia South America where he attained fluency in both written and spoken Spanish. Upon returning from Colombia he completed a B.A. at Utah Valley State Universtiy in Orem, Utah.

While completing an undergraduate degree, Jake was affiliated with non-profit organizations with services ranging from providing Medical and Dental benefits to uninsured/underinsured residents of Utah to providing down payment assistance grants for first time homebuyers across the country.

Jake is an associate planner at Total Wealth Management, Inc. He also serves as a member of The Society for Financial Awareness, a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization. Jake has spoken to dozens of organizations and businesses throughout the greater San Diego area regarding the principles of sound financial planning and wealth management and development. Recently, Jake has been honored with induction into the Cambridge Who's Who of Business Executives.

Jake feels fortunate to have found an avenue to assist families in identifying their stewardship responsibility to True Wealth and helping them along the journey.

Jake resides in Point Loma with his wife Kattia.
