Jacob Cooper is the Co-Founder and CEO of Total Wealth Management, Inc, a Registered Investment Advisor organized under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Previously, Mr. Cooper served on the Board of Directors for The Society for Financial Awareness, a 501(c)3 non-profit educational organization. A widely syndicated public speaker, Mr. Cooper has spoken to dozens of organizations and businesses throughout Southern California regarding the principles of sound financial planning and wealth management and development. He hosts a popular financial talk show every Sunday at 1pm PST on AM 600 KOGO, heard throughout Southern California.  His credentials include CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Certified Wealth Preservation Planner (CWPP™), Certified Asset Protection Planner (CAPP™), as well as a Master's Level academic certificate in Executive Financial Planning from San Diego State University. Mr. Cooper authored and released “Wealth Preservation & Legacy Creation” in 2006, a book dedicated to advanced planning for high net-worth individuals, families and business owners. He is often sought after by publications and news syndications as an expert in investing and financial planning, appearing often on Fox and NBC news affiliates.

Mr. Cooper’s practice has been built around putting the needs of those he serves first. He measures his professional success by the success of each client. Growing up as the oldest of nine children, Mr. Cooper has learned patience and understanding. His father served in the United States Marine Corps for over 31 years (retired Colonel), and left indelible marks his mind as to the importance of loyalty, integrity, and dedication. His mother, who could put up with a Marine for that entire time, has helped him nurture an unconquerable spirit as well as a keen sense of humor!

Mr. Cooper is also an Eagle Scout and supports the Boy Scouts of America. Despite his extensive credentials and experience, he credits most of his education to serving a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-Day Saints as a young man in the New England area of the United States.

Mr. Cooper resides in San Diego with his wife Kristen, and their three daughters, McKayla, Haley and Kelsi.
